Dear Reader,

I am writing this Testament to express my grim so very grim tales of woe. Help, while it would be delightful and greatly appreciated I have at best a heavy heart full of doubt for I feel I have never received any, Truly. Both my Wife and I have four beautiful Children they are a gift from God and are loved with all of our hearts. We have done our best to shelter them from the evil that has attached us in a most horrid way. My wife and I both have parents we really cannot lean on, hers for medical and financial reasons and mine very similar except my parent have just recently lost their house and my wife and I have done the same. Our Home was what we put everything we had into, our life savings all gone in the sweep of an eye. It all started about 6 years ago when we went into business and worked real hard for everything we earned, had fairly good people who worked for us and depended on the jobs we provided for them to support their families we all built a successful business. About 1.5 ago one very large client an owner of a national chain of restaurants stiffed us out of about $400,000 Dollars, and yes we filed liens and got Attorneys involved at even more cost to us in which my parents and my wife and I that ended poorly for us. They were just over a billion dollar industry they could afford to wait us out and file continuations and appeals, our attorneys wanted more and more, we had to hawked our homes to the hilt My parents and ours just to keep the business open. This was not an easy thing to do, I mean to convince my wife and momma to put up their houses.

Around 9 months ago one of our employees embezzled about 30 grand from our company, went all over and wrote our business checks and forged our signature and what did she get for that a weekend in jail and 5 years probation with restitution of about $ 25.00 per month, we have received only one payment, that’s justice for you. We worked hard to rescued the business and worked hard to get the business a float with our deceitful interest only mortgages over our heads we landed a contract with a family ran development company and felt it was a good fit they had just bought the local mall for $4 million dollars in our town and was going to renovate it. We felt it was a God send but al last they hooked us for about 375K well again we turn to the local DA’s office for help. They investigated and had found out that these people have done this before and stated that “these guys are credit thieves and would love to go after them“; However they did just invest 4 million plus into the local economy and had “Real Deep Pockets” and were buying up more real estate with their ill gotten gains. The DA’s office just did not have the funds to go after them and told us that we would have to get attorneys and file a civil action. Well, with heavy hearts we did that, we got the best our few remaining dollars and credit could muster. These guys were real good they took us for our last little bit, they had full disclosure and scooped up every last little bit we had and eventually recommended Bankruptcy. Well we tried to go that route. Went out and hired some attorneys to file bankruptcy, they never did file it just waste our last 5 grand and now don’t return our calls or except them.

We sold everything at auction, these evil rich people had the audacity to show up and mock us, saying they told us they would put us out of business and we would never get a dime from them, and you know they were right. We eventually pulled enough together to moved out of there with our head hung down, and I’d like to say it ended there we moved away to start a new life. I really tried to move to Canada or any place other then America, I had lost all faith in a system that had abandoned us every time in our time of need just because we didn‘t have the money to buy justice. My wife and I supporting our entire family we got new jobs and worked real hard but I had a bad turn of luck on the health front in that I had my leg punctured and no not at work. I had an antibiotic resistant bacteria try to kill me and then had received Steven Johnston syndrome as a result from sulfur based Antibiotics. Lost my job and now cant pay rent, ran up medical bills, had the car repossessed and feel like the fair haired orphan child asking for a hand out every time I go to the doctor. Did I mention we sold most all of our worldly possessions just to survive? Here we sit penniless poor as the poorest church mice realizing our American dream is all but lost. We cant help to feel that all hope is lost and at every corner we hit a ruff spot. It is called hopelessness, a sorrow that hurts you to your core. I never could believe people could do these evil thing to one another. Don’t they know it is hurting my children, fine kill me but why hurt children and please spare my wife, I don’t know how she has endured this. I have to admit it feels good to right it down I left out some details of further depression mainly about turning to people for help and receiving nothing. I’d like to add that when we were on the top we helped many, but since then have never met anyone like us that would help us. At least we are not alone for every day I see the news and their yelling Credit crunch and Mortgage matters, yet it is still all about the money isn’t it.

A preacher at our local church once told me he might help 10 people knowing perhaps 7 or 8 of them really didn’t need the help, But he felt good about helping to those 2 or 3 that did. We are one of the 2 or 3 and the preacher I knew long ago is long gone and so is his way of thinking. I always lived by that code, help others and someday it will be returned. I am not mad at God or blame him I would like to try to understand his plan it is confusing but I am sure he wants us to have this experience for at least it has brought us together. Some here the 7 or 8 that don’t need help should really not ask, it is a horrible sin I would think, and yet some would mock the 2 or 3 asking for help, some are cynical I completely understand that for I have come to see that evil people make good people sour. Please feel my heart filled plea and don’t just don’t down the poor for at least some of us still stand together or stand for something. We still keep the faith no matter what, no matter what.
